Noah Tumfo is the
Chief Director of the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.
He was posted to this Ministry in February,
2025 after serving as the Chief Director of the then Ministry of Sanitation and
Water Resources from August, 2019 following the Ministerial realignment.
He was appointed a Chief Director in March,
2019. Prior to his appointment as Chief
Director, Mr. Tumfo served as Secretary to the Governing Council of the Civil
Service and Director for Career Management Directorate of the Office of the
Head of the Civil Service from 2010 to 2019.
He has worked as an
Administrator in both the Ghana Civil and Local Government Services for more
than two decades. Mr. Tumfo’s career in
the Local Government Service started in May, 1997 at the Kwahu South District
Assembly.
He later transitioned into the
Civil Service in June, 2010.
Mr. Tumfo holds a
Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Industrial Art from the Kwame Nkrumah
University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
He further pursued
Masters degrees in Public Administration and Public Sector Management from the
University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and the Ghana Institute of
Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) respectively.
Mr. Noah Tumfo is a
professional Administrator and a Chartered Management Consultant.
He is a
member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants,
Ghana (CIAMC) and the Chartered International Professional Managers, UK (CIPM).
He has expertise in
Interpersonal and Motivational Skills Development, Leadership, Analytical
Thinking and Public Service Systems and Procedures.
Leadership
